Overview of the Master of Public Health (MPH)Residents enrolled in the SAFELTP receive a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Pretoria. The MPH prepares professionals both from the public and the private health sectors for leadership roles in the management, improvement, and evaluation of health, health interventions, and the health care system. Concentration or Track The programme offers two area of concentration, or “track": a field epidemiology track or a laboratory management track. At the end of this programme, students will not only have acquired an understanding of the entire field of health systems and public health but will also have developed sufficient competence in one particular field. All graduate courses and modules are presented in English. |
