Regrettably, we report a further 566 COVID-19 related deaths: Eastern Cape 104 , Free State 46, Gauteng 80, KwaZulu Natal 218, Mpumalanga 6, Northern Cape 8 and Western Cape 104. This brings the total to 38 854 deaths.

 

We convey our condolences to the loved ones of the departed and thank the health care workers who treated these patients

Our recoveries now stand at 1 160 412 , representing a recovery rate of 84,7%
