New yellow fever vaccinations requirements in effect from 1 October 2011

The South African Department of Health has officially revised the yellow fever vaccination policy. As of 1 October 2011, all travellers to and from Zambia will be required to show proof of yellow fever vaccination, or a valid waiver certificate. The addition of Zambia to the countries requiring vaccination is following a reassessment of the areas at risk by the WHO.
