NHLS commemorated World Aids Day by raising awareness about the pandemic as well as promoting the importance of knowing your status, by getting tested.
A fascinating lecture was presented by Prof. David Lewis, entitled -‘The 30-Year War on AIDS-Have We Reached the Turning Point?’, followed by a moving talk by guest speaker, Mr Rhulani Baloyi, a young man living with HIV.
The proceedings were wrapped up with the musical talents of the NICD choir, as well as the forming of a "human AIDS ribbon".
