Intensive MycoLogy CouRSE fOR tECHNOLOGISTS
General objectives:
- To have a better understanding of yeast and mould identification
- To improve mycology PTS performance
- To have an understanding of yeast AFST

Candidates that meet the below requirements should apply to the NHLS Learning Academy by 01 September 2023:
- NHLS staff members who requested mycology training on their NHLS Workplace Skills Plan
- Signed up for the NICD’s “Fungus of the Week” and actively participating for at least 2 months
- Employed at a lab that participates in the NHLS Advanced Yeast & Mould proficiency testing scheme
- Attended NHLS online mycology training ECHO sessions
Accepted candidates for the course are responsible to contact the NHLS Learning Academy to arrange travel (flights, accommodation and local transport) on time
