GUIDELINES FOR PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT SPECIFICATIONS
This guideline provides guidance for developing tender specifications and procuring the required standard and quality of personal protective equipment (PPE), body bags, disinfectants, alcohol-based hand rub (ABHR) and thermometers for use during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The list of of PPE and disinfectants included in the guidance is according to the recommendations provided in the COVID-19 disease infection prevention and control guidelines and therefore do not include the complete list of PPE and disinfectants. It is limited to the COVID-19 response and should not impact the routine procurement of PPE ,body bags, disinfectants, ABHR, thermometers or similar products.
